The Burgess Farm

Owned and Operated by the Coutu Family

We bought the Burgess Farm in the winter of 2005. Since then, we have renovated the barn and have been working on parts of the 1820s house.

The Burgess Farm, is a circa 1820 historic house and property. It was built by Gideon Burgess after 1810 and was the birth place of Senator Nelson W. Aldrich.

We also run a portable sawmill, build post and beam buildings and timber frame hybrid buildings. We run a small horse boarding facility. Please use the links to find out more about these wonderful services.
